Insight Communications Consolidates Operating Regions

New York – December 11, 2002

Insight Communications (NASDAQ: ICCI) has announced the consolidation of its operating regions from four to three, and significantly expanding the responsibilities of three senior officers. The announcement was made by Kim D. Kelly, Insight's President and Chief Operating Officer.

Gregg Graff, Senior Vice President, Operations, will oversee the Southern Midwest region, encompassing 350,000 customers, including those located in the Louisville, Kentucky market - Insight's largest system with 280,000 customers Ð as well as Evansville, Indiana and Bowling Green, Kentucky. Graff continues to be based in Louisville.

John W. ("Woody") Hutton, Senior Vice President, Operations, has responsibility for the Central Eastern region, serving 450,000 customers located in Lexington and Covington, Kentucky; Bloomington and Anderson, Indiana; and Columbus, Ohio. Hutton continues to be based in Lexington.

David Servies, Senior Vice President, Operations, oversees the Western region, serving 495,000 customers in Illinois (comprised of the Springfield, Dixon, Rockford, Champaign-Urbana, and Peoria districts), as well as the Lafayette/Kokomo, Indiana district. Servies continues to be based in Anderson, Indiana.
