ESPN and Insight Communications Reach Interactive Television Agreement

NCTA Show, New Orleans, La. – May 07, 2002

Insight Communications (Nasdaq: ICCI) and ESPN, The Worldwide Leader in Sports, will launch ESPN Today, an interactive virtual sports channel on Insight's interactive television service known as "Local Source," it was announced today by Insight's President and CEO Michael Willner, and ESPN President George Bodenheimer.

Insight offers interactive local and national content developed specifically for Insight communities. Now, viewers will be able to access ESPN's compelling sports content including scores, news, statistics, commentary and analysis from ESPN's award-winning news and information resources directly from Insight's LocalSource service.

"LocalSource is very popular among our customers who find it easy to access localized, hometown information as well as to navigate their favorite TV programming," said Mr. Willner. "Now, our customers will have access to information from the leader in sports, and we are very pleased to add the quality interactive television offering ESPN provides to our customers through this application."
