Using Firefox in Safe Mode
Periodically, you may need to troubleshoot issues you’re experiencing with Firefox. For troubleshooting purposes, it is best to use Firefox in safe mode. Operating in Safe Mode temporarily disables any and all extensions, custom themes and settings for easier troubleshooting.
1. To open Firefox in safe mode, click on Start > Programs > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode). Your screen may look a little different and you may have All Programs instead.
2. In the Firefox Safe Mode window, you may place a check next to any of the options listed and click on Make Changes and Restart. Firefox will restart in normal mode and the selected changes take effect.
