To check which version of Internet Explorer you are using, follow the steps below:

1. Click on the Internet Explorer "e" icon on the desktop, click Start, Programs, Internet Explorer.

2. Click the Help menu selection, and click About Internet Explorer in the drop-down menu.

 

 

3. This displays the About Internet Explorer box. The two most important things to look for are:

· Version: Should be at least 6.0.

· Cipher Strength: 128-bit (allows for secured transactions over the Internet).

 

4. Click OK to close the About Internet Explorer box.
