POSITION: Direct Sales Representative
REPORTS TO: Direct Sales Manager
LOCATION: Greenwood, IN
POSITION SUMMARY: Door-to-door sales to promote and sell broadband products including digital cable telephone and high speed Internet services throughout the community primarily in residential areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Sells broadband products including digital cable, high speed data and phone services to potential customers through door-to-door sales campaigns to residential customers utilizing in-home presentations
  • Schedules installation of services, collects and accounts for payments owed on delinquent accounts
  • Collects and returns equipment when necessary
    Occasionally performs subscriber audits of illegal hookups for the purpose of obtaining leads
    Performs at a level to acquire the maximum number of subscribers within area served to achieve penetration objective and established goals
  • Demonstrates and ensures compliance with the customer first philosophy
  • Responsible for meeting departmental standards pertaining to quantity of work performed on an ongoing basis.  Responsible for performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Insight procedures.
  • Performs such other duties, as the supervisor may from time-to-time deem necessary

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Proven sales skins through 1 – 2 years related experience
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Self motivated and have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
  • Internal applicants must have completed 6 months in current position
